Using GMail Accounts as MyCourts' Email Address

Google has implemented a policy change, which in their own words, is one in a series of changes to strengthen email authentication, and end any practices by Google products which break authentication. In effect, you will need to give the MyCourts program special permission to access it's GMail account.

First, you will need  to create a dedicated GMail account or add an email address for use by MyCourts. For example, mycourts@mycompany.com .

To allow MyCourts to access the dedicated MyCourts GMail account you need to:

1) Login to the MyCourts dedicated GMail account using the web browser.

2) Go to https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps and Turn On this feature.

3) then follow the instructions from GMail.

Then you can use the information supplied by GMail to configure the email service for MyCourts in MyCourts Administrator.

Note: This GMail account is for use by MyCourts only.
