There may be occasions when the default web service listening port of 80 is in use by another application. In these cases you can change the listening port on the MyCourts web service to another port of your choice.
The following instructions should be followed:
Step 1:
Open any web browser running on the MyCourts web server machine to http://localhost:9999:
You will need to enter the User Name of 'mycourts' and the password 'mycourts'.
Step 2:
The web service console will open to the default web host service which is the service MyCourts uses. Click the Configure button.
Step 3:
Select the General icon from the next screen:
Step 4:
To change the default port, click the drop down arrow and then make your selection:
Step 5:
After making your selection, Save your changes:
Step 6:
Don't forget to Restart the web service:
You can then log out off the Web Server console and configure your router to point to the new port number.
